About us
Updated 15 Jul 2026
Harsai Atelier began at a kitchen table in Chandigarh in 2019, with one pair of fabric shears and a stubborn opinion: that a hair accessory should survive being worn, not just being photographed.
We still make everything by hand, in batches small enough that somebody looks at every piece before it goes in a box. That is slower and it costs more, and it is the only way we know how to do it.
What we make
Bows, clips, scrunchies, headbands and pins — in silk, velvet, linen and recycled acetate. For women who wear the same clip every day, and for girls who will lose it in a playground and want the same one again.
What we do not do
We do not glue clasps. We do not use plastic in the packaging. We do not run a sale on things that were never full price.
